Mother’s Day By The Numbers

Mother’s Day is Sunday, so this is one of your final reminders!  I repeat – Mother’s Day is Sunday!!! Moms do so much for us, so make sure you take care of her on Sunday!  A few options- buy her a gift, cook her lunch or dinner, buy her a card, or even make a card.  Mother’s Day is a day to remember how much moms are doing for her family every day of the year.

A recent study broke down some yearly stats on being a mom. Here are a few-

  1. Moms spend 3 hours and 58 minutes a week watching kids’ sports, which adds up to around eight full days per year.

  2. Mom takes three days off work per year to look after sick kids.

  3. Moms spend 4 hours and 55 minutes at school plays and assemblies every year.

  4. Moms hang 5 drawings on the fridge every year.

  5. Mom buys 38 gifts per child per year between birthdays, Christmas, and other occasions.

  6. Woken up 16 times a year for bad dreams.

  7. Listen to kids say “I’m bored” 144 times a year, or 12 times a month.

  8. Here’s a good one! Moms hear their kids say “I love you” 676 times a year, or 13 times a week.
