Aldi has lowered the prices of over 250 grocery items to help customers cope with inflation and enjoy the summer. The company plans to pass along $100 million in savings through Labor Day by reducing the cost of seasonal must-haves like picnic necessities, BBQ essentials, travel snacks, and healthier food options. Aldi’s President, Dave Rinaldo, stated that the decision to offer greater discounts on already low prices was made in response to experts warning of persistent inflation. The goal is to ensure that food prices do not hinder people from gathering with loved ones or spending time outdoors this season.
