EEO Report

As a station unit, KYBG/KSIG are ardent supporters of equal employment opportunity and subscribe to the moral and ethical tenets of fairness and honesty in hiring. During the aforementioned reporting year, there were no job openings either fulltime of part time. It is however our practice to maintain an active list of recruitment sources should any position become available in any department.

We have in the past utilized the resources of Better Acadiana, Louisiana Works and personal referrals from local businessmen and leaders throughout the communities we serve. Additionally, station staff participates in at least two career fairs per year as well as conducting tours of our facilities for interested parties. When invited, we visit schools at individual career events to explain the requirements and potential opportunities in the broadcast field and our organization in particular.

Through postings on our internet web page, we encourage persons and organizations to submit their pertinent information to: Broadcast Partners, PO Box 60571, Lafayette, LA 70596, in order to be added to our list of recruitment resources.

EEO Review and Training

Quarterly meetings are conducted to review EEO practices and to educate and inform the current staff of our EEO requirements. Staff members are encouraged to report any deviations from our EEO program and solutions to improve our existing program. Quarterly job trainings reviews are conducted to benefit the current staff and to provide them with information on potential advancement opportunities.

Interested applicants are encouraged to send their resume and application to Broadcast Partners, PO Box 60571, Lafayette, LA 70596.
