Healthy Acadiana Alliance and The Woman’s Foundation is holding a virtual community food drive. This year, our goal is to continue to spread the message and ultimately help feed our community who has drastically been affected by food insecurity. Feeding America conducted a study and estimated that food insecurity will increase this year due to COVID-19 along with increase in unemployment and poverty. In fact, Louisiana ranks #1 in childhood food insecurity.

Not only has our community been impacted by the unprecedented pandemic, but we have also experienced a very busy hurricane season.

Join us again this year to collect donations for our neighbors in need. Help us fuel their bodies to feel better, do better, and overcome this year’s challenges together.

In partnership with the Healthy Acadia Alliance, this year’s food drive is VIRTUAL! We made it easy, convenient, safe, and contactless. All you have to do is select your food items of choice to donate and YouGiveGoods will drop ship those items for you to Second Harvest.
