American Pie Revisited to benefit Hospice of Acadiana

A multi-media production celebrating the music and pop culture of the 60’s and 70’s. The concert is scheduled for Wednesday, October 10th at 7:30 p.m at the Acadiana Center for the Arts. This interactive performance will be performed by acclaimed musician John Reno. VIP tickets are $55 and include a pre-concert party at the ACA Café with drinks and hors d’oeuvres; as well as priority seating for the show, and a post-concert Meet & Greet with Reno. General admission tickets are $35.00. Tickets can be purchased online at www.acadianacenterforthearts.org/tickets. All proceeds benefit Hospice of Acadiana.

John Reno, a native of New Orleans who now performs up and down the Gulf Coast, was himself touched by a hospice experience, where he was able to fulfill a last request. Reno said, “Playing for the hospice patient was a gratifying and humbling experience. Her joyfulness, despite her circumstance, filled my heart with such contentment. I am delighted to be able to help such a worthwhile organization in this small way.”

Hospice of Acadiana, established in 1983, is Louisiana’s oldest hospice and palliative care provider, and the only non-profit provider in Acadiana. As a non-profit provider, patient receive all of the care they need, regardless of the cost or the ability to pay. HOA also offers several programs and services to the community a-large free of charge, including: Grief Counseling, Loss and Transition Workshops, Camp Brave Hearts, Pet Peace of Mind, and the “We Honor Veterans” Program.
