The new Lafayette Public Library app is here! Download it today for iOS or Android by searching “Lafayette Public Library” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once you’ve downloaded the app, simply log in using your library card number and PIN, and all your information will be available.
The LPL Mobile app has a few new features including booking study rooms and requesting items not already in the Lafayette Public Library’s collection. It’s fully-customizable, allowing you to organize services so that the ones you use most are right at your fingertips.
Looking for something to do? Our new calendar is fully-integrated into the app, allowing you to view upcoming programs and register with ease. Longtime app-users need not worry, either: patrons can still view their checkouts and holds on the go!
We’ve been saying it for years – “Libraries are more than just books,” but that isn’t saying that reading is less important than any of the countless other services we offer. In addition to our vast collection of books, audiobooks, Blu-Ray, DVDs, and CDs, we also offer 30,000 eBooks, several free databases (such as Lynda.com and Tumblebooks), and more than 2,800 programs throughout the year for all ages. Put simply, the Lafayette Public Library is serving our residents in as many ways as possible.
