Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG)’s Awareness Committee for Citizens with Disabilities is accepting nominations for the 2025 Disability Awareness Awards Ceremony, which will take place on October 7, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Heymann Performing Arts Center. This annual event, hosted by the Mayor-President’s Awareness Committee for Citizens with Disabilities, celebrates individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to enhancing the lives of those living with disabilities in our community.

Nominations for the 2025 awards are now open and will be accepted until August 25, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Members of the public are encouraged to submit nominations to honor those who have made a remarkable impact. Click here to submit your nomination(s) today.
