Harvey Weinstein has been placed in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19 in a New York prison.
The Niagra Gazette posted on Sunday that the disgraced Hollywood mogul, who is serving a 23-year sentence for sexual assault, had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The 68-year-old is one of two inmates that tested positive. During his trial, he was treated for high blood pressure and chest pains.
New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association said they would not comment on an inmate’s health record due to privacy issues.
