Fireworks Usher in the New Year

The countdown has begun with parties, celebrations, and fireworks for all ages!

It’s Happy “Noon” Year December 30th at the Loreauville Branch of the Iberia Parish Library For the little ones who can’t stay awake to see the ball drop at midnight.  Enjoy music, dancing, a craft, stories and a countdown to noon. Ages 2-5 from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

The City of Franklin will celebrate its bicentennial in 2020 with a kick-off party new years eve at St. Mary Parish Courthouse Square at 6 p.m. with music, lowering of one of their iconic lamp posts and fireworks.

The City of Rayne will hold the Annual Fireworks Show at Gossen Park on New Year’s Eve at midnight.

Children ages 5 to 12 can celebrate New Year’s Eve at noon with Happy “Noon” Year at 11:30 a.m. at the East Regional Library, South Regional Library and West Regional Library in Lafayette.
