Thousands of Acres Burn as Saddleridge Fire Continues in San Fernando Valley

4,700 acres have burned and at least 25-homes have been lost as the quick-paced brush fire continues in the San Fernando Valley on Friday.

The Saddleridge fire began late Thursday and spread rapidly at a rate of about 800 acres per hour.  Mandatory evacuations have been issued as over 1,000 firefighters continue to try and put out the blaze.  The wind has caused considerable issues for the firefighters.
