According to the Rayne Police Department’s Facebook page,

On October 14,2019, Rayne officers arrested the second individual to be charged related to Friday night’s shooting incidents. Aaron Redeaux (19) was charged with one count of Attempted Second Degree Murder and booked into Acadia Parish Jail.

The shooting happened not long after the end of the Rayne/Eunice Football game on Friday night.  Several bullets struck cars in the parking lot, as fans, players and band members ran from the gunshots.

The Rayne PD said Redeaux was the ‘second’ individual arrested related to the incident Friday night, but another name was not released.

According to KATC,

Police say he is the second suspect to be arrested in connection with the case. However, police have not named the first suspect or his/her charges. KATC is working to confirm if a person booked Saturday on attempted murder and unlawful disruption of the operation of a school charges is that suspect.
