McDonald’s is now throwing its hat in the ring when it comes to fast food chicken sandwich wars!
It’s no surprise that the biggest hit this summer was the new Popeyes chicken sandwich! It was so popular, it sold out nationwide.
The Popeyes chicken sandwich and Chick fil A Chicken Sandwich went viral in a head to head competition. Many people around the world were comparing both sandwiches.
Now McDonald’s is introducing a new Spicy BBQ Chicken Sandwich, along with new Spicy BBQ Chicken Tenders. Mickey D’s confirmed to Fox News that the new items will be available beginning September 11th for a limited time.
They described the Spicy BBQ Chicken tenders as, “(their) classic Buttermilk Crispy Tenders, battered and breaded to perfection, hand-tossed and perfectly-sauced to order in our new, mouthwatering Spicy BBQ glaze that contains just a hint of jalapeno.”
The new sandwich is described as, the “classic Buttermilk Crispy fillet made with all-white meat and served on a sesame seed bun with slivered onions, pickles and topped with that same smoky, sweet with medium heat Spicy BBQ glaze.”
