As we contemplate the sacrifice that so many first responders made 18 years ago, this will warm your heart and likely water your eyes.
On September 24th, the next class of New York City Firefighters will graduate with 13 children of firefighters that lost their lives as a result of the 9/11 terror attacks. Officials say this is the biggest class of “legacy” graduates that they’ve ever had. There are also three graduates who are children of other first responders that died, including the son of an NYPD officer.
