Verizon produced a spam filter app designed to block those pesky robocalls.  High-risk calls are sent directly to voicemail while the phrase “Potential Spam” is displayed on the caller ID.  While the app was released for free, regular Android users will now get it as a standard operating program.  Therefore, if you’re an Android user, you don’t have to do anything but reap the benefits.

iOS customers, as well as ‘pay-as-you-go‘ Android customers, will still have to do their own part to download the Call Filter app.

Currently, the Verizon Call Filter app is rated 2 out of 5 stars with over 2,500 reviews in the Apple App Store.
