The Day That Changed The World

Today is one of the most important days in history. Not just U.S. history, or the history of the space program. Today is the anniversary of the event that signifies our evolution in to what has become the digital age. All of the technology that evolved from the space program is well-documented. From freeze-dried coffee to small video cameras, there is no going back. And why would we want to? The fact that you are seeing this post on the internet via your computer or handheld phone is all, indirectly, related to what happened 50 years ago today.
