In a recent survey conducted by US Foods, 28% of food delivery drivers admit to actually eating some of the customer’s food.

Over 50% of the delivery drivers also admitted that they were tempted by the smell to eat some of the food. Most customers surveyed found this unacceptable and 85% support tamper-evident labels on food containers to address the issue.
The survey also addressed customers’ top complaints as well as opinions on tipping.
