UPDATE: At least 26 condo units were destroyed and a firefighter and resident were sent to the hospital after a huge fire broke out on the 17000 block of Perdido Key Drive. The Florida Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating the fire.

According to the official City of Orange Beach Facebook page-
“Around 4 a.m. this morning, a multi-structure fire began at Key Harbor Condominiums on Perdido Key, Florida just east of the state line. As of 6:30 a.m. the fire is still going. Heavy smoke in the area. Perdido Key Drive is shut down to traffic at this time. Avoid this area until clear.”
