The City of Torrington Police Department in Connecticut says a wanted man agreed to turn himself in if his wanted posting on Facebook got a certain number of likes.
30-year old Jose Simms was wanted on 7-counts of failure to appear and agreed to turn himself in to police if his wanted post got over 15,000 likes. Police say the post ultimately received over 29,000 likes and over 1,700 comments. After initially refusing to turn himself in, Simms eventually called another police department and submitted himself into custody.
