A Florida woman was arrested for battery after hitting her mom in a fight over the family’s pet hedgehog.

18-year old Emma Davisson announced that she was finally moving out of her mother’s house and heading out into the world. Emma also decided that she was going to take the family’s pet hedgehog with her.
Her mom denied her, arguing that Emma’s younger siblings were the ones that actually took care of the hedgehog… and the now mature, ‘ready for the world’ 18-year old responded by pushing her mother out of the way and hitting her. Her first day out of the house was in jail. Police say she is allowed to go back to the house to get her things, but she can not take the hedgehog.
