13 year old William Preston of Nevada is going viral for an amazing and beautiful act of kindness. He “saw on You Tube where people get their mom a car and surprise her with it” and decided he could do that for his.
Krystal Preston, a single mom of three had been “going through a rough patch” when William decided he could make a difference. He saw on Facebook that someone was selling a 1999 Chevy Metro and contacted the owner. “It was really cheap so I asked her if I could trade it for my Xbox or earn it, and at first she said no, and then she thought about it, and then she said yes,” he said.
After negotiations and a lot of hard work, he presented his mom with the car. “‘Mom, I got you a car,’ and then she said, ‘No you didn’t,’ and then I said, ‘I did,’ and she didn’t believe me,” William Preston said.
She called her son a “lawn mowing, yard cleaning, money making machine.” “I can’t even express it, like there’s no words that can express my gratitude and how proud I am.”
