Notre Dame’s Coach Cook is Saints’ Coach of the Year

Head football coach of the Notre Dame Pioneers, Lewis Cook, has been named New Orleans Saints’ High School Coach of the Year.

The legendary coach capped off a year, where he was inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame, with another state championship win.  The New Orleans Saints have selected Cook as Coach of the Year, nominating him for the Don Shula National Coach of the Year award.  Coach Cook will be among 31-other high school coaches nominated for the honor and will be flown out to the Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
