The Lafayette Public Library has joined forces with the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide to remind families, students, and people of all ages that signing up for a library card opens a world of possibilities. Access to a library offers so many things that a family may not have at home: a quiet place to study, Wi-Fi, and in some cases, a working computer and printer.
The Lafayette Public Library is very excited to announce the addition of two limited-edition library cards for 2019. Patrons can choose from a Toy Story 4-themed card as well as “Little Red Tricycle with Fleur de Lis” by celebrated artist Vergie Banks. Both limited edition cards will be available to the public beginning September 1st (while supplies last).
