The Lafayette City Marshal Reggie Thomas will host the 5th Annual Drive-Thru Backpack Giveaway! Saturday, August 2, 2025 8:00 a.m. Destiny of Faith Church – 409 Patterson Street Clear backpacks filled with school supplies will be given away to help students start the school year strong. Children must be in the vehicle to receive a backpack.
