A Battle Creek Michigan ER nurse hit a hole in one, playing what was only her third round of golf. Kelly Spitz hit the course shortly after Coronavirus restrictions were lifted. She said she joined the Cedar Creek Golf Club to seek out some peace and quiet by playing golf.
Spitz’s hole in one came on a 125-yard par 3. The shot bounced off the cart path, onto the green and into the cup.
“I don’t know if I deserved to get this because of what I do, it’s mostly pure luck, but it was nice,” “Certainly, something to enjoy with all that is going on.”
