Lafayette Police Memorial Service Thursday

22 Fallen Officers from Twelve Law Enforcement Agencies in the Acadiana region will be represented, including the 6 officers killed in the line of duty from the Lafayette Police Department during National Police Week. May 12th through May 18th is dedicated to celebrating and honoring those officer’s who’ve been killed in the line of duty.

The annual Police Memorial service will be held May 16th at 6 p.m. at St. Barnabas Church at 400 Camellia Boulevard with the motorcade beginning at 5:30 p.m. from the Lafayette Police Department main station at 900 E. University Ave. to the church.
