Colombian drug lord Fabio Ochoa Vásquez has been released from a U.S. prison after serving 25 years of a 30-year sentence. Ochoa, a key figure in the Medellin cocaine cartel, amassed a fortune in the 1980s and was included in Forbes Magazine’s list of billionaires. He was involved in the drug trade alongside Pablo Escobar and was featured in the Netflix series “Narcos.” Despite efforts to reduce his sentence, Ochoa is expected to be deported back to Colombia, where he is likely to return to a life of wealth and luxury.
