Amazon MGM Studios is developing a series adaptation of the bestselling romance novel “Things We Never Got Over” by Lucy Score. The series will be adapted, executive produced, and showrun by Amy Rardin. The story follows a runaway bride who is left stranded in a small town with her teenage niece and a local man who becomes her knight in shining armor. The book is part of Score’s Knockemout series, which has sold over five million copies. Rardin previously worked on Disney+’s miniseries “Echo” and the CW’s “Charmed” reboot.
