Dolly Parton’s upcoming tour, “Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony,” will feature an orchestra performing her iconic hits while videos of her singing and stories behind the tracks are shared. Although the singer won’t be present onstage, she was involved in creating the tour as a co-producer. The first show is set for March 20, 2025, at the Nashville Symphony, with hopes of expanding to symphony orchestras worldwide. Parton’s decision not to tour extensively was influenced by wanting to spend more time with her husband and not wanting to be away for long periods.
