Grammy winner Keith Urban is set to join The Voice as the show’s major mentor for season 25, replacing departing mega mentor Wynonna Judd. Urban will work alongside coaches Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, John Legend, and Reba McEntire. The Australian country star will make his debut after the battle rounds, preparing contestants for the knockouts starting on April 8. The knockout rounds will see two vocalists from the same team competing against each other, with coaches having the option to steal eliminated contestants from other teams. Urban joins a prestigious list of super mentors on the show, including Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, and John Legend, who have all become full-time coaches. Past mentors on The Voice have included Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Ed Sheeran, Garth Brooks, Rihanna, and Dolly Parton, with some returning to mentor after their coaching stints concluded.
