Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy have been crowned the winners of the first season of “Dancing with the Stars” and took home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. They faced tough competition from Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach, Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev, and Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber. Xochitl and Val impressed the judges and audience with their performances, receiving perfect scores for their foxtrot to Katy Perry’s “Unconditionally” and freestyle dance to District 78’s “Que Calor.”
