Whoopi Goldberg was absent from the Season 27 premiere of “The View” on Tuesday after testing positive for COVID-19. Co-host Joy Behar filled in as moderator and informed the audience of Goldberg’s absence. Goldberg is reportedly recovering well at her home in New Jersey and is expected to return to the show this week. This is the third time Goldberg has had COVID-19.
