The decision was made due to the song’s high streaming numbers, and Taylor is personally excited about the news. She gave a speech about the development during her Eras Tour concert, explaining that the song was originally supposed to be a single in 2020, but the pandemic made it seem like a bad idea. Fans are now hoping for a music video for the single.
Taylor has been on the Era’s Tour since March 18, 2023, and will wrap up the North American leg of the tour on August 5, 2023, in Los Angeles, California.
