The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office says at least seven people have died following shootings at two farms in Half Moon Bay in Northern California.
Officers responded to a shooting at a mushroom farm and discovered 4 people dead from gunshot wounds. Three more deceased victims were found later when responding to a call near the Rice Trucking Soil Farm.
The suspect identified as 67-year-old Zhao Chunli turned himself in. Police have not released a suspected motive, but said Zhao was a worker at one of the locations.
The shooting came days after 11 people were killed and more injured during a shooting at a Lunar New Year celebration at a Monterey Park dance studio in California.
