Christmas in The Point & Church Point Christmas Parade

Media Release from the Town of Church Point:

Christmas In The Point @ Central Park & Church Point Christmas Parade

Mayor Ryan ‘Spanky’ Meche invites everyone to experience the first ever “Christmas in The Point @ Central Park.” The Town of Church Point recently put its final touches on the first-ever Central Park. The new Central Park area, downtown Church Point, ties in the new fishing pond, Le Vieux Presbytere Museum, new playground, Buggy Building, and dog park!

Christmas In The Point @ Central Park features a 30-foot lighted Christmas tree, drive-thru candy cane lane, light-up displays, and more! Our historic Le Vieux Presbytere Museum and our new fishing pond are lit up for the season too! You can drive thru ‘Candy Cane Lane’ to experience our Christmas cheer or take a walk in the park. Christmas In The Point @ Central Park is FREE and open to the public from sundown to midnight every evening!

Our 2nd Annual nighttime Christmas Parade is Thursday, December 15th, at 6 pm! Thousands of people were in attendance last year, and we expect more this year! Our parade features floats, lights, music, and fun. Following the parade, we will have Christmas Movies in the park! Food and drink vendors will be on-site too!

Finally, the Town of Church Point and Church Point Community Development are teaming up to award the best-decorated homes and businesses this year.

“I would like everyone to experience Christmas In The Point @ Central Park and our nighttime Christmas parade this year!” says Mayor Spanky.

“Come and see all that we have to offer in Church Point! Amazing people, great businesses and restaurants, and a FREE drive-thru Christmas display!”
