Sir Elton John’s private jet was forced to make an emergency landing after a reported hydraulic failure.
The flight was on its way from Ireland to New York for Elton’s Madison Square Garden show when the plane struggled with 80 mile-per-hour winds about an hour into the flight when the “hydraulics failed, crippling the functionality of some of its brakes, flaps, and landing gear equipment.”
The plane landed safely, and he was boarded onto another flight.
A source says,
“He put aside any personal anguish to get back on a plane.
For Elton, quite literally, the show must go on.”
