After years of playing a role on television as a space traveler, William Shatner is set to finally go into space for real.
The actor that played Captain Kirk on the original Star Trek series, Shatner will be launching into space with Blue Origin. The rocket will be the same one that Jeff Bezos rode in July.
Talks are that the launch and space experience will be filmed for a documentary. If successful, William Shatner (90) would be the oldest person launched into space.
