“The Haunted Mansion” is getting a reboot and stars Tiffany Haddish and Lakeith Stanfield.
In a newly released casting call, the list details the type of ghostly characters that are set for the film.
Ghost characters include, “a wealthy Creole couple in their early 30s and free people of color from 19th century New Orleans”, The Mariner, “an older, weathered 19-century sailor”, The Butler, which is a new character, and the Dueling Ghost and The Bride.
Several other familiar ghosts from Disney’s amusement ride will also be in the film. The 2003 version of The Haunted Mansion starred Eddie Murphy.
