The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominations for the 48th annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Tuesday. The Daytime Emmys will take place June 25, airing at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS and streamimg on Paramount+.
The Drew Barrymore Show and The Kelly Clarkson Show are both up for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show. Barrymore also has her first-ever Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host. Alex Trebek, who died in November, and Larry King, who died in January, were both nominated posthumously. Trebek is nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host for Jeopardy!, while King’s nomination is for Informative Talk Show Host for Larry King Now.
