The North Texas Country music community is mourning the death of up-and-coming singer, Taylor Dee.
The 33-year-old was involved in a deadly rollover crash in Euless, Texas on March 14th after her 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer went airborne hitting a concrete barrier following a quick lane change.
Dee wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Her body was found outside the vehicle a few yards away. She succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving at a nearby hospital.
A 36-year-old man was also found at the scene, he suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Linda Wilson, president of the Texas Country Music Association, said in a statement to KTVT,
“Taylor Dee was the real deal — a true talent with a heart and passion not only for her music but for people.”
