Nickelodeon is pulling two episodes of SpongeBob Squarepants.
The criticism of the episodes stems from storylines some deem controversial.
One episode, ‘Mid-Life Crustcean’, involves SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mr. Krab stealing women’s underwear in a ‘panty raid’. The other, ‘Kwarantined Krab’, has a storyline where Krusty Krab customers are forced to quarantine due to the ‘Clam Flu’ virus.
The episodes are currently ‘out of rotation’ and cannot be streamed on Paramount+ or purchased from digital services like Amazon.
