If you were buying Happy Meals during McDonald’s Pokemon collaboration, you may have something more valuable than just a kid’s meal.
The collectible Pokemon cards that come with Happy Meals have been getting bought up by collectors and scalpers and selling big on eBay. A single Pikachu card from the collection reportedly sold on eBay for $500!
Pichachu is the most popular Pokemon in the McDonald’s release and also the rarest. The hologram money is valued even higher.
Various other listings exist for the Hologram Pickachu card, some with bids starting at $80 or more. Most are listed with the ‘Buy It Now’ feature set at an amount over $100.
Of course, since scalpers are buying and selling these cards at high volume, it may be harder to get your hands on your own Pokemon cards.
