Mike Tyson/Jones Jr. Exhibition Made More than $80 Million

The numbers are in and the Mike Tyson/Jones Jr. exhibition is one of the top 10 most purchased pay-per-view events of all time.

 
 

In projections released by Tyson’s Legends Only League, the November 28 event generated over $80 million with more than 1.6 million PPV purchases.  The event, put on by entertainment company Triller, is expected to rank in the top 10 most purchased PPV events of all time according to owner Ryan Kavanaugh.

 
 

Tyson, who earned a reported $10 million for the exhibition, plans to move forward with his Legends Only League with a focus on raising money for charity.  Jones earned $3 million and announced after the match that he would consult with his family before he decided if he would continue on with the Legends Only League.

 
 

As an exhibition, no knockouts were allowed and there was no official winner declared.  Celebrity judges in attendance ruled the bout a draw.
