Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Household Hazardous Waste Day at Cajun Field, scheduled for Saturday, November 21, has been tentatively rescheduled for the spring of 2021.
Unfortunately, postponement is necessary because of issues beyond LCG’s control with the COVID-19 pandemic and a scheduling conflict with Cajun Field. A large venue, such as Cajun Field, is needed to hold more than 800 cars and collect 25 tons of hazardous waste.
LCG asks residents to hold on to their hazardous waste for proper disposal when the event takes place next spring.
