The Senate Judiciary Committee is accusing big tech of interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election.
On Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee announced their plans to issue a subpoena to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Tuesday. The GOP lawmakers are accusing the social media giant of interfering with the 2020 Presidential Election by suppressing information, namely a pair of New York Post articles that allege the impropriety of Hunter Biden‘s business dealings with Ukraine as well as the involvement of his father, Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden.
Twitter and Facebook both prevented users from posting links to the articles, but Twitter has also locked the official account of the Trump campaign as well as the account of White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany about 20-days before the election.
