Delaware State Police are investigating an attempted robbery that was thwarted by the shop owner.
He got served!
According to police, a suspect armed with a machete approached the store owner while he was closing the business and demanded money. The store owner allegedly advised the suspect that he didn’t have any money and threw a pizza at him!
Apparently, that worked. Despite having a machete, the suspect decided to flee.
