Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry has tested positive for COVID-19.
The test was done out of an abundance of caution ahead of Vice President Mike Pence’s visit Tuesday morning. Landry says he’s asymptomatic despite the positive test result. He will be quarantining and will not greet the Vice President on the tarmac.
