A fire broke out at a Lafayette Burger King restaurant on 4520 Ambassador Caffery Parkway on Tuesday (5/5/2020).
According to fire officials with the Lafayette Fire Department, an electrical malfunction with the broiler caused the fire in the restaurant’s kitchen. Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly preventing any major damage. No injuries were reported.
