WWE Hall of Fame ring announcer, Howard “The Fink” Finkel has died at the age of 69.
Although details are unclear, WWE has confirmed his death. Finkel was hired by Vince McMahon Sr. and became a full-time staffer in 1979. “The Fink” was WWE’s longest-serving employee.

Yesterday, the WWE announced layoffs two days after being deemed an “essential business” in the state of Florida. Along with Kurt Angle and Rusev, the WWE released Drake Maverick, Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Heath Slater, Eric Young, Rowan, Sarah Logan, No Way Jose, Mike Chioda, Mike Kanellis, Maria Kanellis, EC3, Aiden English, Lio Rush, Primo and Epico.
