Lafayette High Baseball Team Honors Tony Robichaux

The Lafayette High baseball team wore special uniforms Tuesday for their game against Teurlings. All Mighty Lions jerseys had #36 with “Robichaux” on the nameplate, honoring the longtime head coach of the UL baseball team.

The Lions defeated the Teurlings Rebels 8-2.

Tony Robichaux coached the Ragin Cajuns for 25 seasons. He passed away on July 3, 2019 after suffering a heart attack several days earlier. He was 57.
