Bayou Vermilion District Suspends Operations During Coronavirus Concerns

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and out of an abundance of caution for our visitors’ and staffs’ safety, Bayou Vermilion District, Vermilionville, and Water Quality have temporarily suspended operations. We continue to closely monitor information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who assess the Coronavirus risk in the United States.

La Cuisine de Maman remains OPEN, serving take out orders only. If you are social distancing but still craving delicious Cajun food, we have you covered! Call (337) 233-4077. You can pick it up in the restaurant, via the gift shop, or request curbside service.

Our Bayou Operations arm is still busy clearing the Vermilion River of trash and debris. This team is tireless and works through the worst weather. Thank you Bayou Ops!

While many of our favorite events have been canceled due to the current state of things, we are actively working to reschedule these events. Follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates and more information.
